Robotics Olympic Lab

About This Program

The Robotics Olympic Lab is a specialized educational program aimed at preparing competitive young engineers and programmers capable of successfully participating in international robotics and engineering competitions. Launched in 2023, the program has formed an active learning community with approximately 50 participating students. Students receive free technology education covering robotics, programming, 3D modeling, robot design and construction, sensors and microcontrollers, and competition robot development. The learning process is strongly hands-on — students design, build, and program their own robots. Teams within the program have already participated in international competitions: Robotex International in 2024 and RoboChallenge International Robotics Competition in 2025. The team operates using modern STEM education approaches including competition-based learning, project-based learning, team engineering, problem-solving training, engineering mentorship, and innovation-driven training. Students work in teams and prepare under conditions similar to real competitions. The long-term goal is to build a strong robotics talent pipeline and prepare specialists capable of representing Armenia in the global technology ecosystem.

Program Focus

  • Robotics design, construction, and programming
